When going on vacation, one looks to be pampered and lavish in the comforts not available at home. Why not turn that pamper session into a fashionable one?

This is far easier to achieve than one might think. Unbeknownst to many, some of the world's top designers are in the hotel business.

From Versace to Armani, Lagerfeld to Furstenberg, luxury designers are dabbling in the hospitality business and they are working true magic on some of the world's most luxurious hotels.

In June, Diane von Furstenberg unveiled her suites at London's ritziest  hotel - Claridge's. Adding her signature femininity and haute bohemian style, she transformed a piece of Claridge's into a fashion forward oasis.

I wanted to respect the architecture and the formality of the grand hotel room, but at the same time make it relevant to today's lifestyle... I don't want the hotel to change, I just want it to be more of a fantasy, she said.
