‘SYTYCD’ Season 14 Spoilers: Will Matthew Deloch Be Selected By An All-Star?

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 recently introduced Matthew Deloch in one of its audition episodes.

The 18-year-old dancer will be competing for a spot in one of the all-stars’ teams on Monday night’s episode. While speaking with The Advocate, Deloch shared what it was like auditioning for the hit FOX reality TV competition in March and receiving mostly positive comments from judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Vanessa Hudgens.

“All three judges were speechless and that made me feel really good. Nigel did say he wants to feel more emotion from me and I totally agree with that. So I’ve been working on that for sure to make sure I get that better, and I want to make sure I make all the corrections so I can make it as far as I can go,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deloch also shared some of his experiences in dancing and said that he has been teaching at the Center Stage Performing Arts Academy in Gonzales since 2015. “We just did it all. I started off with tap and then I went to ballet and lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, everything. And because it is a musical theater school, I also did acting and singing, so I got a little bit of everything in there,” he said.

By the looks of it, Deloch’s background could definitely come in handy for his stint in “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14. However, the teenager is not allowed to divulge any information from episodes that have not yet been released. What he only revealed is that he is still in contact with the people he met during his audition.

As of late, some of the all-stars have already found dancers to include to their team. Each of the 10 all-stars will only work with four contestants. But before heading to the live shows, two of the four dancers will be sent home. In the end, only one dancer from each team will advance to the live shows and only one winner will bring home the $250,000 grand prize.
