This past season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished in last place in the division. In 2014, the team will try to improve on a disappointing year with a new look.

On Monday, the organization revealed a new uniform. Tampa Bay had previously unveiled a different helmet and logo.

The NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform combines the Buccaneers’ history with a modern design. In addition to the black and red of the team’s 2013 jerseys, the new uniform includes “Bay Orange” as a primary trim color. From 1976-1996, the Buccaneer’s jerseys were primarily orange.

"Today marks the culmination of more than two years of research and planning to bring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into a new and exciting era of our history," said Buccaneers co-chairman Edward Glazer. "We worked closely with our partners at Nike to design a uniform that would set the standard for both design and functionality. The result is a sleek, modern design that honors our championship past while also establishing a new, bolder identity moving forward."

Pewter sleeves highlight the white jersey, which has been given a more lively shade of red. The reflective chrome border around the numbers gives the Buccaneers a unique look that is different from every other NFL uniform.

The jerseys will be available for purchase on April 1, 2014. Fans can but the new merchandise at Buccaneers.com, Nike.com, and NFLShop.com.
