“Terminator 2” actor Edward Furlong remained in jail on Tuesday after an arrest early Saturday morning on suspicion of domestic abuse.

Furlong, 34, was, as of Tuesday, being held on $50,000 bail at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, the Daily Mail reported. The arrest is the third in three months for Furlong, who is currently facing several different charges for similar allegations, including felony charges in a domestic violence case and a contempt-of-court case.

Furlong previously made headlines at the end of October when he was arrested following a public fight with his girlfriend at Los Angeles’ LAX airport. It was widely reported that the woman involved in the spat with Furlong had visible bruise marks on her arm. Less than a month later, on Nov. 21, Furlong was in handcuffs again. According to police, he was accused of physically assaulting the same girlfriend.

And the assault charges are not the only legal allegations leveled at Furlong. The actor, who has previously admitted to battling drugs and alcohol and has taken several trips to rehab, was recently banned from spending time with his son, reportedly as a result of his continued drug habit.

Furlong’s ex-wife Rachael Bella obtained a court order forbidding him from visiting their six-year-old son, Ethan, when the young boy tested positive for cocaine after spending time with his father. In a plea not to be stripped of his visitation rights, Furlong appeared before a judge on Dec. 11 and refuted Bella’s claim. His ex-wife, Furlong said, was out to “alienate me further from my son and destroy my ability to work.” But despite his claims, the judge upheld Bella’s court order.

The “American History X” actor’s attorney, Brian Michaels, told the Associated Press that he was still in the process of gathering information about the recent arrest.

Furlong is scheduled to appear at a probation violation hearing on Feb. 15.
