“Thor: Ragnarok” director Taika Waititi has an incredible sense of humor, so it’s no surprise that his new movie for Marvel, which stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular character, is going to be filled with his signature wit and humor as well.

Waititi even showcased some of that humor he’ll be incorporating in the movie in a behind-the-scenes photo taken by Darryl Jacobsen, according to Comic Book. The photo, which he shared on Instagram, showed Thor deep in thought while surrounded by gourds. He then captioned the photo heavily with hashtags.

The movie’s synopsis, which was earlier shared by Entertainment Weekly, introduces some exciting new players in the Marvel franchise such as the villain Hela (Cate Blanchett). It reads, “In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok — the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization — at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!”

As an added treat for Marvel fans, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will be coming along for the ride. According to Slash Film, Doctor Strange will be teaming up with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) as they face off against intergalactic villains “both familiar and new.”

Aside from Hela, other newbies in the franchise include Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Skurge the Executioner (Karl Urban) and the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).

Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as the mischievous Loki, while Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster will not be included in this third “Thor” film.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
