"Thor: Ragnarok" stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston might be busy filming the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie these days, but they always make time for their fans.
Hemsworth and Hiddleston, who are currently in Australia to film the third "Thor" installment, recently dropped by a children's hospital in Brisbane to surprise and cheer up some young patients, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Still sporting their signature hairstyles as onscreen brothers Thor and Loki, Hemsworth and Hiddleston met and chatted with dozens of children, their respective families and medical staff at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital. The actors also posed for photos with the kids, which were posted on social media on Tuesday.
Hemsworth, who brought along Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir, shared a snapshot of him and Hiddleston goofing around with a young fan on his Instagram account, captioning the pic: "Met the real superheroes of the world at @ladycilentochildrenshospital. A huge shout out to all the brave kids who are an inspiration to all of us! @twhiddleston #madepossiblebychf #ladycilentochildrenshospital #juicedtv."
The hospital also uploaded a photo of the Marvel stars' visit on their official account and thanked them for giving the kids a wonderful surprise. "Well, loki who visited us tonight. Thank you @chrishemsworth and @twhiddleston for creating some superpowered memories for our patients! And a shoutout to the Children's Hospital Foundation and@juicedtv for making it happen," read the caption.
Hemsworth and Hiddleston joined the long list of actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to make time for young patients. Among the Marvel stars who also made surprise visits to children's hospitals are "Iron Man" actor Robert Downey Jr., "Captain America" star Chris Evans, "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Chris Pratt and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland.
