Tim Tebow Girlfriend: Who is the Mystery Girl?

The search to find out more about Tim Tebow's girlfriend is on after Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones tweeted that she heard the Jets quarterback had a secret girlfriend.

Early Tuesday, Jets Pro Bowl center Nick Mangold tweeted, I'm trying to get @timtebow to accept that he and @lolojones are a match made in heaven. #lobow, Jones responded by claiming she had heard Tebow actually had a girlfriend.

Jones said, Thanks Nick but I actually heard tebow has a girlfriend he just isn't saying it publicly. The search continues....

Mangold had pushed for the two to become a couple after Jones, 29, told HBO's Real Sports that she is still a virgin. Tebow, another devout Christian, has also publicly talked about his commitment to maintaining his virginity before marriage.

I was actually pushing for Tim and Lolo Jones to get united, Mangold told ESPNNewYork.com. My message kind of got lost in the 'Tebow Time' chanting.

Mangold's efforts to pair together the two famous virgin athletes might not have gotten off the ground, but it did reveal the interesting tidbit about Tebow's secret girlfriend.

Tebow's love life has long been a point of interest in both tabloid magazines and in search engines. The phrase Tim Tebow's girlfriend is one of the first search items that pops up in search engines when you type Tim Tebow's name.

Many have tried to figure out who the backup quarterback has dating, but little has been confirmed. He's been connected to a variety of athletes and celebrities in the past, but he rarely publicly comments on the relationships.

It's funny because, half the rumors, I've never even met the people, he told Good Morning America in April. And I'm sure they would be lovely.

So just who is Tebow dating?

The odds are that if he is dating someone, as Jones suggests, it is someone out of the public limelight. Tebow cherishes his privacy, which is why the rumors of him dating huge celebrities never quite made sense.

The downside is that it means it will be difficult to find out much about his romantic life until he publicly announces it.
