Maxygen, Inc. (MAXY) surged 11.20 percent to $6.95 in the after-market trading. The company said it will distribute substantially all common shares of Codexis, Inc. (CDXS) that it owns, as well as about $30 million in cash, by way of pro rata special distributions to Maxygen’s stockholders.

Virgin Media, Inc. (VMED) soared 4.05 percent to $27.04 in the after-hours session.

Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (MGIC) jumped 3.71 percent to $6.15 in the after-market trading.

Pacer International Inc. (PACR) improved 2.47 percent to $5.81 in the after-hours session.

Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (CLDX) rose 2.33 percent to $4.40 in the after-market trading. The company said its experimental cancer vaccine rindopepimut that targets brain cancer has attained the primary goal of extending the survival rate of patients in a phase 2 clinical trial.

TiVo Inc. (TIVO) grew 2.23 percent to $9.15 in the after-hours session. The company announced a powerful new companion TiVo app for the iPad. The app will be available for free from the Apple iTunes App store in the coming weeks.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (CBRL) gained 1.78 percent to $58.80 in the after-market trading.

Natural Alternatives International Inc. (NAII) increased 1.77 percent to $6.90 in the after-hours session.

GT Solar International, Inc. (SOLR) moved up 1.69 percent to $7.24 in the after-market trading.

Northwest Bancshares, Inc. (NWBI) rose 1.61 percent to $10.76 in the after-hours session.
