The top after-market Nasdaq gainers Tuesday were Actions Semiconductor Co. Ltd, Pacific Sunwear of California Inc, PriceSmart Inc, Oncothyreon Inc, and Caesars Entertainment Corp. The top after-market Nasdaq losers were Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc, Anacor Pharmaceuticals Inc., SeaChange International, and Alkermes Plc.

Gainers

Actions Semiconductor Co. Ltd (NASDAQ:ACTS) shares climbed 10.61 percent to $2.92 in post-market trading. The company announced that it is raising its revenue guidance for the first quarter of 2013 based on the company's preliminary review of its anticipated financial performance. For the first quarter of 2013, Actions expects to report revenues in the range of $16 million to $16.5 million and gross margin of approximately 36 percent. The company's previous guidance for first quarter was revenues of $12 million to $13 million and gross margin of approximately 35 percent. 

Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. (NASDAQ:PSUN) shares rose 6.22 percent to $2.39 in post-market trading. Growing Stock Report expanded its NASDAQ Gainers Weekly Watch List adding Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. 

PriceSmart Inc. (NASDAQ:PSMT) shares advanced 3.48 percent to $83.00 in post-market trading. The company reported second quarter earnings per share of $0.82, $0.05 better than the analysts' estimate of $0.77. Revenues for the quarter came in at $607.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $609.67 million.

Oncothyreon Inc. (NASDAQ:ONTY) shares gained 3.04 percent to $2.37 in post-market trading. The company shares had gained more than 6 percent in regular trading.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ:CZR) shares surged 2.53 percent to $15.00 in post-market trading. The company announced that it is joining with  America's top Game Show, "Wheel of Fortune" to create a millionaire as part of the "Wheel of Fortune Millionaire Maker Sweepstakes."  More than $2 million will be awarded over the course of "Wheel of Fortune's" biggest cash sweepstakes ever. 

Losers

Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:SGYP) shares plunged 8.84 percent to $6.60 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $2.98-$7.44 and a market capitalization of $478.61 million. The company Tuesday announced that it is offering to sell an aggregate value of $90,000,000 of its common stock in an underwritten public offering (or an aggregate value of $103,500,000 of its common stock if the underwriters of such offering exercise their over-allotment option in full). 

Anacor Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ANAC) shares declined 7.05 percent to $6.33 in post-market trading.  The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $3.00-$7.18 and a market capitalization of $242.22 million.

SeaChange International (NASDAQ:SEAC) shares lost 6.13 percent to $10.71 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $7.00 -$12.10 and a market capitalization of $368.44 million.

Alkermes Plc. (NASDAQ:ALKS) shares dropped 4.18 percent to $22.00 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $14.82-$24.04 and a market capitalization of $3.06 billion.
