Quicksilver Resources Inc. (NYSE:KWK) shares surged 2.36 percent to $2.60 in post-market trading. Moody's Investors Service downgraded Quicksilver Resources Inc.'s ratings, including the Corporate Family Rating (CFR) to B3 from B2, senior unsecured notes ratings to Caa2 from B3 and the subordinated notes rating to Caa2 from Caa1. Moody's also downgraded the company's Speculative Grade Liquidity Rating to SGL-4 from SGL-3. The outlook remains negative.
