The top after-market NYSE gainers Thursday were Restoration Hardware, Agnico-Eagle Mines, B&G Foods, Rentech Nitrogen Partners and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. The top after-market NYSE losers were Cobalt International Energy, International Business Machines Corp, Advanced Micro Devices and Elan Corp.

Gainers

Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc. (NYSE:RH) shares rallied 9.01 percent to $35.70 in post-market trading. The company reported fourth quarter adjusted net profit of $24.16 million or $0.64 per share, above Reuters' estimate of $0.60 per share.

Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. (NYSE:AEM) shares climbed 6.13 percent to $34.29 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $30.75, a 52-week high of $57.35 and $5.57 billion in market capitalization.

B&G Foods Inc. (NYSE:BGS) shares climbed 5.27 percent to $29.59 in post-market trading. The company reported first quarter net profit of $19.6 million or $0.37 per share, up from $16.8 million or $0.35 per share in the same period last year. Quarterly revenues rose 8.8 percent to $171.2 million compared to $157.1 million last year and also topped analysts’ estimate of $170.31 million.

Rentech Nitrogen Partners L.P. (NYSE:RNF) shares surged 4.45 percent to $32.85 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $21.08, a 52-week high of $49.18 and $1.22 billion in market capitalization.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE:LGF) shares gained 3.91 percent to $23.38 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $11.26, a 52-week high of $24.15 and $3.04 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

Cobalt International Energy Inc. (NYSE:CIE) shares slumped 7.79 percent to $24.50 in post-market trading. The company announced Thursday that its drill stem test of the lowest interval drilled in the Cameia No.2 well in Block 21, offshore Angola, did not produce measurable hydrocarbons.

International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) shares plunged 4.30 percent to $198.25 in post-market trading. Its first quarter net profit declined to $3.03 billion or $2.70 per share from $3.07 billion or $2.61 per share in the same quarter last year. Revenues declined 5 percent to $23.41 billion and also fell short of Reuters' estimate of $24.69 billion.

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD) shares declined 3.98 percent to $2.41 in post-market trading. Its first quarter net loss narrowed to $146 million or $0.19 per share from $590 million or $0.80 per share in the same quarter a year earlier.

Elan Corp Plc (NYSE:ELN) shares fell 1.60 percent to $11.70 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $9.37, a 52-week high of $14.91 and $7.07 billion in market capitalization.
