Men’s Health magazine has released a latest ranking of America’s 100 luckiest towns, according to which San Diego has been ranked the luckiest city of United States.

The top ten slot features California city and of course, the gambling capital of the country Las Vegas is also listed.

The magazine said that they chose the cities on the basis of data of “most winners of Powerball, mega millions, and sweepstakes; most hole-in-ones; fewest lightning strikes and deaths from falling objects; and least money lost on lottery tickets and race betting.”

Below is the list of top ten lucky towns of America:

1. San Diego, California

The second-largest city in California and the eighth-largest city in the United States, San Diego is America's luckiest town. According to National Climatic Data Center, least number of deaths occurs from falling objects in San Diego. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the city has lost least money lost on lottery tickets and race betting.

2. Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore is the largest city of the US state of Maryland. The second most lucky town of America, it is also the biggest cultural center in the state.

3. Phoenix, Arizona

The capital and largest city of Arizona State, Phoenix is ranked third in America’s 100 luckiest towns list.

4. Wilmington, Delaware
