As each side enters the final preparations for their domestic campaigns, the Premier League’s Tottenham and Serie A’s Internazionale will clash in friendly action Friday at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is starting his stars as the squad builds to Aug. 13’s Premier League debut against Everton. In particular, striker Harry Kane and attackers Dele Alli and Eric Dier, will see action after extensive play during this summer’s Euro 2016. Michel Vorm gets the start over Hugo Lloris.

“I think our preparation for this game is arriving in a good moment for us," Pochettino said to the club's official website. "All the internationals are involved in the game, it is important to recover the feeling but the most important thing is to start the season in a very good condition.”

Tottenham previously fell to Juventus and Atletico Madrid in International Champions Cup play in Australia during the preseason, and a victory over one of Italy’s signature clubs will help momentum before the start of Premier League.

However, Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini is also seeking a bright spot to the preseason after his club fell to both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain last month.

Mancini, though, finds himself embroiled in controversy after he avoided questions about his future in Milan. The Italian is entering the final year of his current contract, and the club’s new Chinese owners have yet to offer a new deal.

The boss also recently squashed any talk over forward Mauro Icardi transferring, amid speculation over Arsenal or Napoli. Mancini told reporters last week what Icardi’s continued role will be.

"Mauro is our captain," Mancini said. "I don’t know what can happen in the future, but he is the captain."

This is the fifth time Spurs and Inter have met since 2010. The last meeting was in March 2013, with Inter prevailing at home 4-1 in a Europa League match but Tottenham advanced on away goals. Tottenham had won the previous meeting a week earlier at White Hart Lane, 3-0.
The two clubs also had two meetings in Champions League group matches in 2010, with both earning home wins. Inter took the first fixture, 4-3, while Tottenham came back with a 3-1 win.
