Trailer For Latest Stephenie Meyer Film Adaptation 'The Host' Set To Premiere

The new Breaking Dawn: Part 2 promo may be generating major hype but another Stephenie Meyer adaptation is set to become a film and it's long awaited trailer is debuting this week! The author, who is primarily known for her young adult series, The Twilight Saga also penned the highly praised novel The Host, which deals with more mature themes. The book was a New York Times #1 bestseller that was translated into several languages so it's clear that the film already has a fanbase. The film is set to be released in March of next year and it's trailer will hit the net on Thursday, March 22.

It tells the story of Melanie, who lives in a world where alien spirits can evacuate human souls and take over their bodies. It focuses on love in a time of war and stars Saoirse Ronan (Hanna, The Lovely Bones), Max Irons (Red Riding Hood), Jake Abel (I Am Number Four), Diane Kruger (Inglorious Bastards), William Hurt (Into the Wild) and Frances Fisher (Titanic).
