"True Blood"
"True Blood's" fifth episode of season five ended with the discovery of Russell. Wikipedia

True Blood has been throwing such curve balls in their fifth season that we have no idea what to expect from future episodes! Tara's a vampire, Russell is free and Lilith seems to have a crazy hold on vampires!

Luckily for fans of the HBO show, we've stumbled across some MAJOR spoilers of what's to come in August. TVOvermind has posted the recently released breakdown of True Blood's August episodes. Check out the description below.

Episode #57: Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Debut: SUNDAY, AUG. 5 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)

As the Authority proceeds with Lilith's plan, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) plots his escape. Gran (Lois Smith) directs Sookie (Anna Paquin) to a clue to her parents' murderer. Andy (Chris Bauer) and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) search for leads to the identities of the people behind the shifter killings. Alcide (Joe Manganiello) recalls his pack induction; Arlene (Carrie Preston) gets caught in Terry (Todd Lowe) and Patrick's (Scott Foley) crossfire; Steve (Michael McMillian) gets a new pet.

Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Dan Attias.

So it looks like Lilith isn't going anywhere, and Eric still hasn't been able break free. Godric can't provide anymore assistance in that area? Probably the most interesting tidbit of this episode description is that Gran is once again going to return to Bon Temps. Gran made an appearance last season when she helped to pull Marni's spirit out of Lafayette's body, and now she's back again to help Sookie find her parents murderer.

Episode #58: Gone, Gone, Gone

Debut: SUNDAY, AUG. 12 (9:00 - 10:00 p.m. ET/PT)

With vampire-on-human attacks increasing, the Authority attempts to woo public favor. Meanwhile, Nora (Lucy Griffiths) tries to convert Eric to Lilith's gospel. Jason finds a mysterious scroll; Elijah (Keram Malicki-Sanchez), the new vampire sheriff of Area 5, pushes Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) to obey a new mandate; Sam (Sam Trammell) and Luna (Janina Gavankar) search for Emma (Chloe Noelle); Russell (Denis O'Hare) seeks a higher calling.

The Authority will definitely have a hard time winning public favor after their massive killing spree this past week. But since the Authority is training to woo public favor, that means things may be falling apart with Lilith. Nora is obviously still praising Lilith since she is still trying to convert Eric, but since Russell is seeking a higher calling, it looks like he's already bored.

What do you think is going to happen in the remaining episodes of season five of True Blood?
