Britain's Good Food Guide has chosen 10 chefs it believes may make the headlines in the coming decade as Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal have done over the past 10 years.

Chefs like Marcus Wareing (3rd in the Good Food Guide top 50); Jason Atherton of Maze (11th) and Angela Hartnett of Murano (33rd), all from the Ramsay stable, are obvious contenders, the Guide said.

As are Nathan Outlaw (10th); Shane Osborn of Pied à Terre (9th) and James Sommerin of the Crown at Whitebrook (36th).

It also highlights Will Holland at La Bécasse in Ludlow (50th) as a dark horse, along with Robert Thompson of the Hambrough Hotel, Isle of Wight (37th); Marc Wilkinson of Fraiche on Merseyside (30th) and Adam Simmonds of Danesfield House, Marlow (19th).
