Extended Promo:

The extended promo for “Under the Dome” teases the dome’s newest threat in episode 6: dust. Yep, “In the Dark” will feature a good old-fashioned dust bowl. But instead of solely disrupting agriculture, the blowing dirt could potentially kill residents of Chester’s Mill by suffocating them.

“If the dome walls get clogged no airs gonna be able to get in,” Rebecca informs Big Jim and Julia of the “deadliest storm” to hit the town yet.

Sneak Peek #1:

Could sneak peek #1 tease there’s a way out of the dust-covered dome? The camera follows Junior, Sam and Barbie during the exploration of a tunnel leading from Melanie’s locker.

“Lyle had to bust out the back of the locker to get down here,” Junior said to Sam while searching the tunnel, still convinced it was his mother’s ex-boyfriend who had killed Angie.

Junior is set on seeking vengeance but Sam reveals killing someone is no “small thing.” But Sam quickly covers his tracks saying that’s just what he assumes when Junior questions if he’s ever taken a life. What do you think Junior will do when he learns his uncle is the one who killed Angie?

Sneak Peek #2:

Besides dust and dark tunnels, Julia will face her own disaster when Big Jim reveals he’s attempting to regain hold of Chester’s Mill’s reigns.

“You and I both know whose town this is,” he says to Julia. She responds by saying [the town’s] neither hers nor his.

"The first thing I’m going to do is give it back to them," she responds. "Voting. These people are entitled to a say of what happens to them."

Big Jim rebuts her argument saying “it’s interesting” she’d choose to allow a town full of scared and desperate people to decide what happens next.

“Is there no brain under that hair?” he continues.
