The 2012 U.S. presidential race is entering the home stretch, and the first of four televised debates (three for the presidential candidates, one for the vice-presidential candidates) will be held Wednesday at 9 p.m EDT.

Look for "Live Blog" debate coverage here at the International Business Times beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT.

While many voters' impressions have solidified to the point that the debates are unlikely to drastically alter the outcome of the election, the debates still represent the most prominent platform on which both candidates will get to make their case before Election Day.
