Vampire Diaries
Things will not be looking good for Damon in episode 14 of "The Vampire Diaries." CW

TERRIBLE news for “Vampire Diaries” fans. The hit CW series is taking not one, but two weeks off before the next new episode. Can viewers make it until Feb. 27? Here’s hoping these juicy spoilers can hold you over until then.

When we left off in episode 13, Damon decided to go on a destructive bender after his breakup with Elena (really Katherine). Teaming up with Enzo, the Salvatore bad boy found himself in a bit of trouble when he went to seek revenge against Dr. Wes. While the deadly duo did find the mad doctor, they also found themselves face-to-face with a handful of Travelers. “Total Eclipse of the Heart” concluded with Dr. Wes stabbing Damon with a needle – a needle that holds a serum that forces Damon to feed on other vampires, not humans.

As if Damon’s predicament wasn’t bad enough, no one (except poor human Matt) has caught onto the fact that Katherine has jumped inside Elena’s body. With Elena out of the picture, her evil doppelganger is doing everything in her power to win back Stefan – whatever the cost may be.

So, where does that leave “Vampire Diaries” fans in episode 14? In a lot of trouble!

Thanks to Dr. Wes’ vampire serum, Damon’s destructive behavior has taken a turn for the deadly. What makes his situation even more unfortunate is that Stefan regrets their fight at the end of episode 13 and has gone after his brother … with Elena (really Katherine) in tow. But fighting off the urge to eat his brother and ex-girlfriend won’t be the only thing that Damon will be struggling with. A leaked synopsis for episode 14, “No Exit,” teases that Dr. Wes and the Travelers are not done with him. Dr. Wes will be enlisting the help of the Travelers “to set a trap that will once again test Damon’s friendship with Enzo.”

Meanwhile back in Mystic Falls, Matt will still be dealing with his Nadia problem. With verbena in his system, Nadia decided to wait it out before figuring what to do with him. Judging by the synopsis, it sounds like she was able to compel him again, because “after a heart-to-heart” he asks Caroline and Tyler’s help in protecting Elena. Is Matt really compelled? Or is he trying to protect his friend’s body until he can figure out how to get her back? Either way, things are definitely going to be awkward for Caroline and Tyler … and the whole situation will lead to a “violent confrontation.”

By the end of episode 14, Caroline will feel dejected and will be comforted by Stefan. Their conversation will “lead to a “horrifying realization” … hopefully the truth about Elena and Katherine.

Episode 14 of “The Vampire Diaries” will air on the CW on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. What do you think will happen in “No Exit”? Let us know in the comments section or send a tweet to @AmandaTVScoop.
