‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 5 Spoilers: Watch Sneak Peek Video Of Elena As The Latest Augustine Vampire In Episode 10, ‘Fifty Shades Of Grayson’

Elena Gilbert may be one tough girl … but she can’t stay out of trouble! Another sneak peek video from episode 10 of “The Vampire Diaries” has leaked online and fans will definitely want to keep their fingers crossed for the Mystic Falls sweetheart.

“Fifty Shades of Grayson,” which is set to air on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. EST, is the midseason finale for the hit CW series. Viewers were already treated to a video previewing trouble for the quickly aging Katherine, and now it appears as if Katherine’s doppelganger counterpart isn’t faring well either.

The last time that fans saw Elena she had been captured for an Augustine experiment by Aaron’s legal guardian, Dr. Wes. Although Aaron was able to break into the basement chambers to see Elena, a nasty revenge reveal from Damon didn’t result in her freedom. Instead Damon ended up with a bullet in the head (which is really just an ugly headache for a vampire) and Elena found herself strapped to an operating table next to Damon’s old Augustine friend, Enzo.

So, what’s in store for her in the mid-season finale of “The Vampire Diaries”? Nothing good from Dr. Wes!

“Subject 83182 appears conscious,” Dr. Wes states for his recorder in the sneak peek video.

Strapped to a table, Elena looks up at the blinding lights above her. “Where am I?” she asks as she takes in her surroundings.

“Why?” Dr. Wes counters. “Look familiar?”

“What is that thing?” Elena asks with fear in her voice as she takes in a machine next to her. “What are you doing to me?”

Wes ignores the vampire and begins to prep her for blood dialysis. Putting what appears to be an anesthetic gas mask over her, he begins to count down from 10.

The sneak peek video from “Fifty Shades of Grayson” ends before “Vampire Diaries” viewers can see what Dr. Wes has planned for Damon’s girlfriend … but it doesn’t look as if it will end well.
