Tom Hardy, who plays Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises' Set for Release in the Summer of 2012, didn't have anything to say about his character in a recent interview, although when asked about fan reaction to a new trailer he shared his enthusiasm.

"I love to see people happy," he told MTV News.

"The Dark Knight Rises looks like it's going to be an awesome, awesome movie," he said. "I saw the trailer myself and I am very excited too."
Hardy was at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego California on Friday promoting his new mixed-martial arts film Warrior.

"I should be working right now," he said of being at work on the Dark Knight film production. "I came to Comic-Con just to have a little look."
