Detroit Lions defensive tackle earned the fifth fine of his NFL career Wednesday after a kick to Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub during last week’s Thanksgiving game.
Suh will shell out $30,000 for the a kick to Schaub’s midsection, that he called “inadvertent.”
“I was being dragged to the ground,” Suh said to the Detroit Free Press, “and my foot inadvertently hit the man.”
The video below shows the whole play, and fans can decide for themselves, but with Suh’s history of unnecessary and questionable play it is hard to believe him. Earlier this season he was voted the dirtiest player in the NFL for the second time in his shot career.
