Walking Dead
"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Sunday, Feb. 9. AMC

It’s finally 2014, which means “Walking Dead” fans are a little bit closer to the season 4 midseason premiere on Sunday, Feb. 9. While the wait may seem long, AMC is doing its best to feed fan hunger by releasing a series of video clips.

The videos may not be of high quality, but they expose some pretty jaw-dropping drama that lies ahead:

Daryl And Beth

“Walking Dead” viewers will remember that when the prison group split up, Beth had been left searching for baby Judith and the rest of the kids. Unfortunately she couldn’t find them, and Daryl forced her to abandon their former home on foot.

The 12-second TV spot shows Beth and Daryl post-prison running through a field. Beth seemingly trips in her frantic run, but another cut appears to show both her and Daryl unconscious on the ground.

Glenn

Still struggling to recover from the illness that plagued the prison, Glenn was put onto the emergency escape bus when things at the prison started to get bad. “Walking Dead” fans aren’t sure where exactly that bus took off to, but the TV spot featuring Glenn hints that he didn’t end up in a safe area.

The video shows him bloody and possibly waking up after a hard blow to the head. When he finally comes to, Glenn appears to be on the edge of some sort of cliff with a slew of walkers below him.

Michonne

While the other prison survivors seem to have made it off the overrun grounds, a video clip shows that Michonne is still in the formerly gated area. We have no doubt that Michonne, sword in hand, will be able to make it to safety past the hundreds of zombies. The question that remains is – where will she go?

Carl

After finding baby Judith’s bloody and empty carrier, Carl and Rick were forced to abandon their home at the prison. Thanks to previous promo videos, we know that the father and son will end up seeking refuge in an abandoned house, but the new TV spot shows that the house may not have been completely walker-free.
