Wall St opens up on Greece, upbeat Fed
U.S. stocks rose at the open on Thursday after the Federal Reserve said it was more upbeat about the economy and Greece looked closer to a bailout deal.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> added 54.94 points, or 0.50 percent, to 11,100.21. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> rose 7.31 points, or 0.61 percent, to 1,198.67. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> gained 14.05 points, or 0.57 percent, to 2,485.78.
