Wall Street falls after consumer confidence data
U.S. stocks extended losses on Tuesday after data showed consumer confidence tumbled in February.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> lost 39.37 points, or 0.38 percent, to 10,344.01. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> fell 5.90 points, or 0.53 percent, to 1,102.11. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> dropped 14.78 points, or 0.66 percent, to 2,227.25.
