U.S. stocks rose on Friday to close out their best week in a month, shrugging off tepid jobs growth in a sign that the rally may have further to run.

* The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> added 19.68 points, or 0.17 percent, to end unofficially at 11,382.09. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> gained 3.18 points, or 0.26 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,224.71. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> climbed 12.11 points, or 0.47 percent, to close unofficially at 2,591.46.

For the week,the Dow gained 2.6 percent, while the S&P 500 climbed 3 percent and the Nasdaq rose 2.2 percent.
