Stocks stumbled to their lowest close since February on Friday after May's jobs figure slammed investors already reeling from worry over another developing debt crisis, this time in Hungary.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> dropped 324.06 points, or 3.16 percent, to end unofficially at 9,931.22. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> dropped 37.95 points, or 3.44 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,064.88. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> dropped 83.86 points, or 3.64 percent, to close unofficially at 2,219.17.
