Wall Street tumbles on jobs data and European worries
Stocks sank on Friday, with the Nasdaq falling 3 percent, after a disappointing May jobs figure, while investors were spooked by the possibility of another debt crisis, this time in Hungary.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> dropped 257.78 points, or 2.51 percent, to 9,997.50. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> dropped 29.50 points, or 2.67 percent, to 1,073.33. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> dropped 65.07 points, or 2.83 percent, to 2,237.96.
