Whitney Houston's diva-like attitude nearly got her kicked off a Delta flight Wednesday afternoon when she refused to buckle-up, reports TMZ.

After settling into her seat, Houston was asked to fasten her seatbelt. According to TMZ, the star reportedly got diva on the flight attendant and threw a fit.

Another Delta attendant then approached the R&B singer and warned her if she didn't buckle up she would be kicked off the plane. Finally, Houston allowed an attendant to fasten it for her.

No! Whitney's not back on drugs, it just seems she went a little off the rocker. Sources close to her say that she is still sober and was just on nerve after missing a previous flight.

Whitney overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie, sources told TMZ.

The singer is hoping to make a comeback in the movie Sparkle, a remake of a 1976 film about three sisters from Harlem who find fame and drugs. Houston will play the girls' mother, Eiffie. America Idol winner Jordan Sparks is leading the cast as one of the sisters, named Sparkle.

The star has not had a role in a movie since 1996 drama The Preacher's Wife.
