The exciting moment for Jessa and Ben Seewald has finally arrived: The reality star gave birth to a baby boy Thursday, People magazine wrote in an exclusive report. While fans are eager to learn more information -- like the name of the newborn -- no further details were provided.

Jessa and Ben have yet to issue a public statement.

Fans of the Seewalds were tipped off about the baby’s arrival when Jessa’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, took to Facebook to write about the birth Wednesday. “We are especially excited to meet our new grandbaby soon!!!” the couple wrote on their official page. “Jessa will certainly be a wonderful mom.”

The former “19 Kids and Counting” star was past her due date, and some wondered if she would give birth on her birthday. Turns out, the child was born a day later. The Duggars said that her birthday would have been a “good day to have that sweet new one.” Instead, the baby boy will have a birthday all his own.

Minutes before the arrival of their newest grandson was announced online, Jim Bob and Michelle posted photos of their ever-growing family. They simply labeled the photo: “Family.”

Jessa, now 23, and Ben, 20, announced the pregnancy in April. "I think having this first year together to share our lives, just the two of us, has been special," Jessa told People magazine exclusively at the time. She added they were "definitely excited to be parents."

Even though “19 Kids” was canceled by TLC because of Josh Duggar’s sex scandals, sisters Jessa and Jill were given spin-off specials with their husbands. The birth of Jessa’s baby will be featured on their new show, “Counting On,” People wrote Thursday.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
