Marvel Studios just released their final movie of 2017, “Thor: Ragnarok,” but they have plenty of films in the pipeline. Fans should get excited for the end of what the studio calls Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Black Panther” (Feb. 16, 2018) In February, fans will get to see Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) again. After his father died in “Captain America: Civil War,” T’Challa will take over as King of Wakanda. However, his leadership will be challenged by those who want to keep Wakanda’s advanced technology secret. Ryan Coogler is directing.

“Avengers: Infinity War” (May 4, 2018) This is supposed to be the beginning of an epic climax for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the usual Avengers team will be joined by nearly all of the superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Thanos (Josh Brolin) gets his hands on the Infinity Stones. Joe and Anthony Russo are helming this film and its sequel.

“Captain Marvel” (March 8, 2019) Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will direct this origin story for Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), an Air Force pilot who gets superpowers. It will be set in the 1990s and the fierce female will go up against the villainous Skrulls. Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury will also appear in the movie.

“Avengers 4” (May 3, 2019) They haven’t even revealed the subtitle because it’s too spoiler-y. We have no details about this flick, which will be directed by the Russo brothers.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” Sequel (July 5, 2019) Tom Holland will return for his second solo mission as Spidey. Jon Watts will return as director.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (TBA) As the post-credits scenes of “Vol. 2” hinted, Adam will go after the team on behalf of Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki). James Gunn will return as director, but he intends this installment to wrap up his story. Check out more details about the end of the trilogy HERE.
