Comeback pop singer, Whitney Houston, will tour Europe next year making it her first tour in eleven years.

The singer has returned to the spotlight this year following a much-publicized struggle with drugs and the breakdown of her marriage to Bobby Brown.

Houston will begin her world tour in April 2010 and has scheduled dates in the U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium, with the rest of the concerts set to be announced in the next few days.

The pop diva said in a statement This is my first full tour since the 'My Love Is Your Love' tour in 1999 and I am so excited to be performing for my fans around the world after all this time.

I am putting together a great show and cannot wait to perform the songs from my new album 'I Look to You' along with some of your favorites.

The singer's tour will kick off in Manchester on April 8 before moving to Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle and London.
