The police in Michigan are urging the public to help locate a Michigan doctor, who disappeared after he left his work Thursday.

Dr. Bolek Payan was last seen at the Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, two days before Christmas.

A search operation was then launched to find the Michigan doctor. Officials stated in a Facebook post Payan's car was found at his residence in Leoni Township. Jackson is about 35 miles west of Ann Arbor, and Leoni Township is five miles from there.

Blackman-Leoni Public Safety officials wrote in the Facebook post the doctor has had no contact with his employer, family or friends, since leaving the hospital.

"Missing Person: Dr. Bolek Payan was last seen on 12/22/22 leaving Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. If you have seen or had contact with Dr. Payan, please contact Detective Mike Villarreal or Detective Sergeant Bob Shrock at (517) 788-4223," the post read.

The Henry Ford Health website stated that Payan started his residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in 2020. He completed his education from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017.

The website about him states that Payan can speak English and Polish.

This is a developing story.
