For the first time ever, English and Manchester United Striker Wayne Rooney is set to appear on the cover of the EA’s North American version of FIFA 12, or FIFA Soccer 12 (as titled in North America).

The Manchester United team is currently touring the U.S. and had recently played a game against MLS All-Stars in which United won 4-0.

The recent announcement by EA about the complete FIFA Soccer 12 player line-up has been unveiled leading to the game’s launch. Wayne Rooney will be joined on the cover of FIFA Soccer 12’s North American version. Rooney will be joined by two additional players.

“For our friends across the globe, Electronic Arts revealed an iconic lineup of international stars today that will help launch FIFA Soccer 12,” said a report in EA’s official website. “Headlining the group of players is Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Real Madrid’s Kaká, who will be joined by stars Philippe Mexèsin France, Gerard Piquéin Spain, Giampaolo Pazzini in Italy, Mats Hummels in Germany, Jack Wilshere in United Kingdom.”

EA has also introduced EA SPORTS Football Club live service which does not require any additional cost and will connect players to the real-world game with new content all the time. The service will also enable them to support their favorite club and connect and compete with their friends and other players around the world.

The company has introduced a new deal for gamers that will enable them to get hold of two FIFA Ultimate Team Gold Packs per month for six months by pre-ordering FIFA Soccer 12, according to a report in EA’s official website.

The newest features of FIFA 12 will include an enhanced Player Impact Engine that will improve collision variety, accuracy, and momentum preservation, Tactical Defending, Precision dribbling and Overhauled Presentation with new Menu and camera angle.
