Kevin Federline and Victoria Prince are married, but why so soon? Federline reportedly once thought ex-wife Britney Spears needed to slow down with boyfriend David Lucado, but he probably should have heeded his own advice since the former backup dancer married his girlfriend after being engaged for just one day, Us Weekly wrote.

“Kevin told her he was going to Vegas for a job, but he surprised her by proposing and [then planning on] marrying her while they are there,” a source said of the former “Celebrity Fit Club” star. “Victoria really wanted this for a long time so she’s gotta be blown away. She’s proven herself with him from day one.”

Federline -- or K-Fed, as he’s been dubbed -- exchanged vows with Prince at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday, the source told the celebrity-news site. The duo got engaged in Sin City and then said their “I dos” after they were granted their marriage license Friday, Clark County records revealed.

“It’s about time Kevin got over Britney and went on with life,” the source said. “Victoria is an awesome girl.”

The 35-year-old Federline dated the 30-year-old former professional volleyball for nearly five years. He and Prince, who later became a special-education teacher, have had a daughter together, Jordan Kay. Us Weekly said she will turn 2 next week.

Federline is no stranger to fatherhood, with Jordan being his fifth child. He shares two children with pop star Spears: Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6. He also shares two children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson: Kori, 11; and Kaleb; 9.
