“Big Bang Theory” Season 10 won’t air a new episode on Thursday, Jan. 12.

According to the show’s spoiler site, the hit sitcom is on a week-long hiatus after episode 12, titled “The Holiday Summation,” was released on Jan. 5. In the episode, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) traveled all the way to Texas for the holidays. When Sheldon reunited with his mom, he told Mary (Laurie Metcalf) that he and Amy have moved in together. Mary wasn’t surprised because Amy had already told her the truth beforehand.

In Season 10, episode 13, titled “The Romance Recalibration,” Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) will experience a minor setback in their marriage. Penny feels a bit neglected by Leonard, so she decides not to ask him to accompany her on their usual spa date. But Leonard will make it up to his wife when he realizes that he upset her.

But this week’s hiatus for “Big Bang Theory” Season 10 won’t be the last. After “The Romance Recalibration,” the sitcom will go on another two-week break before episode 14 airs. “The Emotion Detection Automation” is slated for release in the first week of February.

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10, episode 14 will see the return of Penny’s brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer). Penny tries to encourage her brother to go to a job interview that she sets up. Unfortunately, the former convict may have a difficult time acting “normal.” Elsewhere, Sheldon will try to familiarize himself more with his emotions. In order to do so, he uses a special machine that can help him read and understand different types of feelings. Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) reunites with his ex-girlfriends, Emily (Laura Spencer) and Claire (Alessandra Torresani).

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
