Prince Harry is in love! It’s only been three months, but the British royal is reportedly falling hard for girlfriend Meghan Markle.

A royal source told E! Online that Prince Harry is “truly in love” with the “Suits” actress and things are “very serious” between them. Supposedly, the romance is going so well that those closest to Prince Harry and Markle wouldn’t be surprised if there was an “engagement announcement sometime this year.”

Last month, E! also hinted at a possible engagement, reporting that it could happen sooner rather than later. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s already thinking about engagement just because that’s where his head goes but that’s not where the relationship is at right now,” a source said.

Things definitely seem to be moving fast, and in the right direction, for Prince Harry and Markle. It’s been reported that the 35-year-old Hollywood star has already met Prince William, Kate Middleton and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

So far, Markle hasn’t been introduced to Queen Elizabeth II but the Queen is said to be “fully supportive” of the relationship. A source told Us Weekly that Prince Harry’s grandmother is “delighted to see [him] in a loving relationship.”

Earlier this month, Prince Harry and his girlfriend celebrated the new year by jetting off for a romantic vacation in Norway. The couple saw the Northern Lights, watched sunsets in the snow and enjoyed whale-watching. They were also seen spending some quality time together in London.

Prince Harry and Markle have been dating since October. The relationship, however, wasn’t confirmed until November when Kensington Palace released a statement about the excessive amount of attention the actress was getting. “His girlfriend, Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. … Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her,” the statement read. “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm.”
