Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska has signed a multi-year deal to serve as a contributor to Fox News, Bill Shine, the executive vice president of programming announced today.

Palin will not have her own regular program but she will provide political commentary and analysis for Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, FoxNews.com and Fox Broadcasting. She will also host episodes of the Fox News Channel series Real American Stories, Shine said.

Palin's first appearance is scheduled for Tuesday night on the O'Reilly Factor, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.
