Carrie Bradshaw may soon be making another strut around the Big Apple, much to the excitement of fans of the hit HBO series "Sex and the City"

In a new interview with InStyle, Sarah Jessica Parker teased the possibility of one final return to the big screen for Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda.

"A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell," the 48-year-old actress told InStyle. "But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"

While speaking with ET Canada, Kim Cattrell, 57, echoed Parker's interest in the possibility of a third film. But she insisted that a strong storyline would be needed to ensure the film had a purpose for being made.

"I feel the most important thing is always, do we have something left to say," said Cattrell. " ... I think it's about the story, if there's something more to say ... [but] I'm not a writer and I don't work in a studio." She added that the financial benefits of the film "would be fantastic" as well but remained adamant that she is "really about content, and where's it going to take me."

The highly successful HBO series ended in 2004. SJP, Cattrell, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon then participated in two big screen versions of the franchise, 2008's "Sex and the City " and 2010's "Sex and the City 2."
