The news about Windows 10 Mobile ROM had first surfaced in April last year. Fresh speculations suggest that the Window 10 ROM is now ready for Android devices and it will be first made available for Xiaomi Mi 4 owners by Nov. 26.

Microsoft is aiming to bring Windows 10 to more number of smartphones and tablets. The new ROM from the Redmond giant is an attempt to let Android users try the new operating system and finally switch to it. A Microsoft employee has spilled the beans on the arrival of the Windows 10 Mobile ROM, Neowin reported. He has revealed that the ROM will be available around Nov. 26 for Xiaomi Mi 4 users.

Microsoft has recently released the latest 10,586 Windows 10 Mobile preview build. The operating system is now more stable and reliable then offer. Hence, it is being dubbed as the RTM version of Windows 10 Mobile. The final version of the OS is scheduled to release in the next month.

Now that the Windows 10 Mobile is ready, the company may want to increase the user base of the operating system by letting Android users to try it. Since the release of Windows 10 Mobile ROM is imminent, the Redmond giant may announce the names of other Android devices that will be blessed with the ROM.

Xiaomi customers are known to offer consistent feedback to firmware updates that are released by the company. This is the reason why Microsoft chose to work with the Chinese company in developing the new ROM, Phone Arena reported.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 is the flagship smartphone from last year. It features a 5-inch IPS full HD screen, a Snapdragon 801 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. It runs on a modified version of Android called MIUI. Other specs of the device include 16 GB and 64 storage options, 13-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 3,080 mAh battery.
