A woman jumped out of a second-floor window in Queens, New York, after being brutally raped multiple times by a male acquaintance.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) tweeted a couple of photos of the suspect, Michael Hosang, 53, as well as information about the vehicle he was last seen driving, in hopes of getting public assistance in locating him, Sunday. The unidentified 29-year-old victim was believed to have been raped by Hosang more than one time, from 6 a.m. EDT to noon, Thursday. He also allegedly punched the woman, causing at least one fracture in her face, while she was trapped in a residence in Laurelton.

The suspect was described as of around five feet, 10 inches tall and weighed 200 pounds. He was bald with brown eyes. Once he realized that the victim had leaped out of the window, Hosang reportedly fled in a red Chevrolet pickup truck with Florida license plate JZEY32.

According to Daily Mail, he is a manager at Vivid Cabaret Club near Times Square and also a manager at Hoops adult entertainment club. He used to work at a similar venue named Sapphire.

The woman, who was believed to be an acquaintance of the suspect, was being treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, residents at the neighborhood said they were surprised to hear about the assault since it was a relatively quiet area.

“It’s unheard of,” Jacques Heins, 65, who had lived there for 22 years, told the New York Post. "I was listening to the news about this, and thought, ‘It can’t be. There’s never even been a fight around here. Nothing.’ Everybody looks out for each other. I feel bad for the lady.”

Willa Peguese, 82, another resident of the area, who lived there for 42 years said he planned to stop taking late-night trips, even to take out the garbage. “You never know who’s hanging out,” Peguese said. “I have to be careful about that. I hope they catch this guy soon.”

The NYPD has offered a reward of $2,500 for useful tips that can lead to the suspect’s arrest.
