Cast member Said Taghmaoui revealed in a recent interview that he is playing the role of a superhero in the “Wonder Woman” movie. The actor had previously shared a behind-the-scenes picture of him and fellow cast member Chris Pine in full costume.

According to a report by Batman-News, Taghmaoui teased about his character in the forthcoming movie in an interview to a French magazine. The actor did not reveal the name of his superhero character in the movie and said that those details were still “under wraps” and he was not allowed to share more details.

Talking about the casting process, Taghmaoui said that it was not easy for him to land a role in the movie, as there were hundreds of actors who were suitable for the role. After three months of hard work, the actor slowly became the favorite and was chosen.

Taghmaoui explained that he had to go through extensive physical training for the role in the movie. The filming of “Wonder Woman” will take place in four different countries for a duration of about six months, the actor revealed.

Filming of the movie has already begun and Taghmaoui had recently shared a picture from the set on social media. The picture has since been deleted, but copies of the picture are circulating online.

Taghmaoui has been a part of several big budget Hollywood movies like “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” and “Conan the Barbarian.” He was most recently seen as a cast member of the TV series “The Missing.” Some of his forthcoming projects are “For All Eyes Always,” “Night is Meant for Sleeping” and “Infiltrator.”

According to a previous report by Collider, most of the filming of “Wonder Woman” will take place in the UK. Italy is also said to be one of the countries where filming is set to take place.

“Wonder Woman” is slated to be released on June 23, 2017 in the U.S. and is being directed by Patty Jenkins. Apart from Gal Gadot as the protagonist and cast members Pine and Taghmaoui; Nicole Kidman is rumored to be one of the cast members of the movie in an unspecified role.
