"World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar has just been released, but are you having trouble finding your way around and figuring out how you should go about exploring the new content? This guide from Blizzard should give "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar newcomers a path to start off with.

Staring Out In "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar

When starting off in "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar, the first thing you should do, according to Blizzard, is head for the Timeless Isle, which is a brand new area that is one of the highlights of "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4. Blizzard states that the Timeless Isle is "smothered with loot."

Your first quest will be given to you by Chromie, who is located in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. After you complete the quest, which will take you to the Timeless Isle, you'll receive a follow-up quest that'll net you a Timeless Cache, which grants you a random piece of Level 496 gear that will match your character's loot specialization.

Finding Loot In "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar

Blizzard says that if you want to get good loot fast, you should look for three items in particular. One of them is Mogu Runes of Fate, which you can use in the Throne of Thunder raid to help you get gear. Timeless Coins, which are a new currency specific to the Timeless Isle, allow you to buy items including Timeless Caches.

Finally, you'll also find Timeless armor tokens, which work like Timeless Caches. The difference here is that that Timeless armor token will give you items for a specific item slot. Some examples of Timeless armor tokens you might find include a token for cloth bracers, or a token for a trinket, etc. Keep in mind that these bind to your accounts, so you can send them to other characters assuming they're on the same account and realm through your character's mail.

Blizzard also says that if you're fortunate, you might get a Burden of Eternity to drop, which you can use to make a Timeless armor token create an even more powerful level 535 item.

Blizzard also recommends that you go the old fashioned route for high-end gear: getting Justice Points by clearing dungeons. Blizzard notes that while Heroic dungeons are the best way to earn Justice Points, they can also be earned by completing Scenarios or by converting your Honor points. The local quartermaster can be found at the Niuzao Temple in Townlong Steppes.

Blizzard also reminds that for 250 Valor points, you can add four item levels to epic gear, and that any item can be upgraded twice.

PvP In "World of Warcraft" Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar
