It’s been 20 months since Hulk Hogan last appeared in WWE, but there are signs that the wrestler could be making his return in the not-too-distant future. Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, has indicated that her father might be a part of WrestleMania 33 on April 2, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.

A few weeks ago, Brooke told TMZ that the WWE Hall of Famer was receiving calls about showing up at WWE’s biggest event of next year. Hulk denied Brooke’s claims, but the 28-year-old’s most recent comments to TMZ indicate that she might have been telling the truth.

“I got in big trouble for that one,” Brooke told TMZ in regards to her initial comments. “I think I just...what is a way that won’t get me in trouble? He’s capable of anything. Lets just put it that way.”

When pressed about whether or not her father would be at WrestleMania 33, Brooke said, “I can’t tell you that now.”

Hulk was fired from WWE on July 24, 2015 when a transcript of the wrestler making racist remarks during a private conversation was leaked to the public. WWE not only released Hulk from his contract, but the company also erased any mention of him from its website.

After Hulk initially left WWE in 2007, he remained away from the company for more than six years. Following a stint with TNA, Hulk returned to the company in February 2014, making sporadic appearances on “Monday Night Raw” and various pay-per-views. He last showed up on WWE TV at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015.

The leaked comments from Hulk came from the wrestler’s sex tape, a portion of which was published by Gawker, resulting in a lawsuit. On Nov. 2, it was reported that Hulk settled the lawsuit for $31 million.
