WWE SummerSlam 2016: Start Time, Live Stream Info, PPV Cost, Updated Match Card

WWE’s second-biggest show of the year is at Barclays Center in Brooklyn for a second straight year with SummerSlam 2016 on Sunday night. It’ll be a long night of wrestling that could span close to six hours.

Multiple matches have been added to the pay-per-view since “Monday Night Raw” and “SmackDown” aired. The kickoff show begins at 5 p.m. ET, and it will include two tag team matches and the match between Cesaro and Sheamus. Those matches can be seen on WWE Network.

The actual PPV begins at 7 p.m. ET with 10 matches on the card. The women’s tag team match now includes five wrestlers instead of six after Eva Marie was suspended for a violation of WWE’s wellness policy.

It’s unknown which match will close the show. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor might be the main event, since the winner will become the first ever WWE Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar is WWE’s biggest star, so he could potentially close the show against Randy Orton. The WWE World Championship match traditionally ends PPVs, but that doesn’t seem likely on Sunday since the belt now belongs to the SmackDown brand.

SummerSlam costs $54.99 to order in HD on PPV, and it costs $49.95 in standard definition. It can also be seen on WWE Network, which costs $9.99 per month. New subscribers, however, can watch the event with a free live stream online, since they get their first month of the network for free.
