The build towards WWE SummerSlam 2017 hasn’t been as entertaining as it’s been in recent years, but you might not know that by looking at the card. The pay-per-view is almost being treated like WrestleMania, considering it features 12 advertised matches and could last longer than five hours.

The kickoff show starts at 6 p.m. EDT, and the actual pay-per-view gets underway an hour later at 7 p.m. EDT at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Fans can either watch the SummerSlam with a live stream on the WWE Network, or they can order the PPV for $54.99. A subscription to the network costs $9.99 per month, though new subscribers get the first month free.

If the SummerSlam betting odds are any indication, the two world title matches shouldn’t be very difficult to predict. Brock Lesnar is a significant favorite to successfully defend his WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe. Jinder Mahal has been the WWE Champion since he won the title at Backlash, but Shinsuke Nakamura has -500 odds to take the belt from him.

The most difficult match to call might be the Cruiserweight Championship Match. Akira Tozawa has even odds six days after beating Neville for the title. Neville had been the champion since Royal Rumble.

John Cena is a -200 favorite against Baron Corbin, five days after he caused the Money in the Bank winner to fail during his cash-in attempt. Rusev is a -200 favorite against Randy Orton.

Finn Balor is the biggest favorite at SummerSlam. He’s expected to beat Bray Wyatt in their rematch from “Monday Night Raw” as he brings back his “demon” persona for the first time since SummerSlam 2016.
