Xiaomi is going to officially announce the Mi Band 2 fitness tracking wearable device, Mi Max smartphone and MIUI software on May 10. The company has already teased photos of Mi Band 2 and Mi Max before their official launch date.

Xiaomi Mi Band 2

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 will be released to succeed the Mi Band 1S fitness band that was released last year. Lei Jun, the CEO of the company, has already teased the Mi Band 2 on Weibo, a social networking site from China.

Unlike predecessor models, the Mi Band 2 will be coming with a LED display. It also seems to feature a physical button that can be used to view various health-centric data on the screen. Rumors also indicate that the second generation Mi Band will be endowed with a water resistant chassis. Like Mi Band 1S, it will also feature an optical heart rate sensor.

Xiaomi Mi Max

A photo of the Xiaomi Mi Max was recently teased on the Xiaomi’s official website. It will be sporting a huge screen of 6.4 inches that is likely to carry support for Quad HD resolution. The smartphone was also spotted on GFXBench benchmarking site with Snapdragon 650 SoC and 2 GB of RAM.

Xiaomi MIUI 8

The new software from Xiaomi, the MIUI 8, will be based on Android Marshmallow OS. According to Giz China, it will be coming with a revised material design along with a new notifications bar. It always provides users with a new way to switch apps. It will also feature new transitions and animations.

Xiaomi is also speculated to be working on a smartwatch. It is expected to sport a round display, brushed metal body and health-related features. Xiaomi has confirmed to launch the Xiaomi Mi Watch in the second half of 2016.
