‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Struggles After Victor’s Threat

He seemed to warn that if she didn’t convince Nick to attend the tree lighting party at his home, he would turn her world upside down by revealing her massive secret. Now, Chelsea will find herself torn as she tries to convince her Nick that they should heed Victor’s request on the Monday. Dec. 4 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After paying her a visit at the penthouse and realizing she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) had gotten their own tree, and likely wouldn’t be attending the annual tree lighting at his ranch, Victor (Eric Braden) made a subtle threat to Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) that he would expose the secret they’ve both been keeping from Nick on the CBS soap. Nick believes that Christian is his biological son with Sage, but his brother, Adam, was really the baby’s father. Sage and Adam both died keeping the secret from him, and since then, Chelsea and Victor have been the ones who have not been honest with him about it. Chelsea knows that if Nick learns the truth, he will not only end their relationship, but he will also never forgive her.

Now, knowing that Victor doesn’t make idle threats, Chelsea will began to panic about the secret and how she can keep Nick from learning the truth. Convinced the only solution will be attending the tree lighting, she will try to convince Nick to go, but much to her chagrin, he will refuse to do so, insisting that there is nothing else Victor can do to him, so there is no reason for him to be required to attend.

”If we don’t go, what can he do?” he asks in a preview clip. “He can’t possibly take anything else from me.”

However, while Nick is confident that his father can’t act against him in a way that ruins his life, unaware of the truth, there is one person that Victor can act against now—and in a very cruel way.

Nick’s son, Noah (Robert Adamson), will attend the party at his grandfather’s, and he will bring his girlfriend Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). However, when Victor corners him to drop a bombshell, he may begin to regret that decision.

“Tessa stole your grandmother’s gun and gave it to her sister,” Victor warns in the clip.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
