“Younger” star Hilary Duff has shared a photo to Instagram to celebrate Thanksgiving. In the photo, Duff poses happily with her mom, sister Haylie Duff, her sister’s fiancé Matt Rossenburg, niece Ryan, son Luca and ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Judging by their happy smiles in the photo, it looks like everything is good between Duff and her ex-husband. Duff has always been open about her friendship with her ex and how they make co-parenting their child work.

In an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier this year, Duff said: “We have such a great kid, and we’re both so obsessed with him. We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication. We share stories and pictures when one is not with Luca. Yeah, he’s great, we’re great, and we just keep on trucking.”

Duff and Comrie decided to call it quits in 2014 after three years of marriage. Speaking of the split, Duff told Cosmopolitan that when compared to other celebrity couples’ situations, their breakup was rather amicable. The actress admitted that their relationship just did not work despite still having love for each other. She also said that she has no regrets about marrying at such an early age. She was 22. Duff, however, said the experience has made her realize that people are not meant to be together forever.

“A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices,” Duff said. “I just always want to fight for happiness.”

Duff appears to have found new happiness in fitness trainer Jason Walsh. The actress confirmed her relationship via a photo of them kissing. Prior to sharing the image, Duff hinted at the relationship during an appearance on “Good Day New York,” saying she finds it nice to have “excitement” in her life.
