Zopo is yet another Chinese smartphone maker that unveiled its feature-rich flagship smartphones, the Speed 7 and the Speed 7 Plus, at MWC15 in Shanghai. In order to promote the brand in international markets, Zopo has signed up two-time Moto GP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo as its brand ambassador.

The Speed 7 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display with ultra slim bezels. (Zopo promotes its screen as a frameless display.) The 5.5-inch display of the Zopo Speed 7 Plus also sports ultra-narrow bezels.

Both the devices are powered by MediaTek MT6753 chipset. It houses a 64-bit octa-core processor and is complemented by 3 GB of RAM. The native storage is 16 GB and external storage supports up to 64 GB microSD are available on Speed 7 as well as Speed 7 Plus.

Zopo has included the same frontal and rear cameras on both devices. The rear camera that is available with LED flash is of 13 MP. It is capable of shooting full HD videos. The front-facing camera is of 5 MP. The Face Beauty 4.0 preloaded app on both the devices helps in capturing amazing selfies. The Zopo flagships will be shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Both the handsets come with support for dual-SIM cards and 4G LTE connectivity. The Zopo Speed 7 is packed with a 2,500 mAh battery, but the Speed 7 Plus comes with a larger 3,000 mAh battery.

The exterior of the Speed 7 and the Speed 7 Plus sport brushed metal-like appeal along with shiny frame running along their edges. The thickness of the Speed 7 is 8.65 mm and it measures 146.1 x 70.6 mm. On the other side, the larger handset has a slimmer profile of 8.8 mm and it measures 153.6 x 76.5 mm. With the $40 discount on Gear Best, the Speed 7 is available for $159 and the Speed 7 Plus is available for $189.
